Cobham Cavaliers completed their 2024 league season at the beginning of the month and were crowned Surrey Walking Cricket Central Division champoins, having won five and lost just once in their division during the season.

New recruit Dean S was our leading run scorer with a strike rate of over 200. Tony A lead the way on the bowling front with a best bowling performance of 6 for 22. Tony also led the way in the fielding departemnt with 1 catch and 5 run outs.

The Cavaliers now go to Valley End CC (Windlesham Road, Valley End GU24 8SN) next Friday, 13th September, where they will join Epsom Thoroughbreds, Valley End Pedestrians and Normandy Poterers, in a round robin competition, with the team topping the group winning the CCL Walking Cricket Cup for 2024.

 The competition will start at 10:00am with the hosts Valley End offering refreshments (both food and drink) throughout the day.
